Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for her role as the main character in TV series like "The West Wing, "In Plain Sight," and Loaded.' Also, she is well-known for her movie roles in 'Private Parts', 'Deep Impact', 'True crime as well as '1408'. McCormack has a father who is a clinical therapist, and owner of an ice cream store. She comes from a family that is not entertainment-related. Her parents split in 1990, she attended Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut graduating with a BA in Comparative Arts. She began her career at age 12 when she performed in the stage production , 'Amahl and the Night Visitors, an opera for the Christmas season. After her performance on stage she was offered roles in theatre productions that were both large-screen and small-screen. McCormack has been hailed as one of the most versatile Hollywood actors. She has three daughters who are with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
