Mary McCormack is an American actor who has been known for her leading role in the TV series 'Murder', 'The West Wing', 'In Plain Sight' and 'Loaded'. Additionally, she is known for her film roles that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. Her parents were a therapist as well as an ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the field of entertainment. When her parents separated in 1990 she attended Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and graduated with the degree of BA in Comparative Art. At the age of 12 She began her acting career with a production of the holiday musical "Amahl And The Night Visitor". The actress continued to perform in the theatre, and eventually landed roles on both the smaller and big screens. McCormack has become one of the most flexible Hollywood actors. She is the mother of three children with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
