Antonia Lofaso's cooking can be a way to investigate the possibilities within her. Lofaso was a student of legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she never hesitated to take extraordinary risks in order to follow her intuition. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. Her home was within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business partnerships. Lofaso could finally enjoy the creativity she had always wanted. The goal of Black Market is not to limit itself by any means. It could begin with dill potato chips and shishito peppers followed by an ice cream roll Korean wings and a variety of meatballs. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her capacity to be her personality outside of the kitchen.
