Rihanna
Robyn Rihanna, better known as Rihanna in Barbados is an Barbadian artist and performer who has released hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular artist who has sold over 41 million albums across the globe and over 150 million songs. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music and began singing when she was quite young. To escape the tensions in her family along with the constant arguments between her parents, she started singing. She formed a musical group while still in high school and got an opportunity to perform with producer Evan Rodgers who was highly amazed by her talent. She was then moved to New York to start a professional singing career full-time. Rihanna was quickly a sensation as her debut album landed on the marketplace. She was a favorite amongst youngsters for her uplifting and foot-tapping songs. The result was Rihanna pursuing directing. Pretty young and highly talented Rihanna is now regarded as an teen idol as well as a model. Rihanna is also active in helping charities and uses her popularity to help charities.
